Are You Born Again?
1 Peter 1:20-25
- You are born again if you fear to disobey Jesus Christ because you understand the incurable cancer that sin is such that Jesus suffered a torchered death to escape us from. If because of Jesus love and judgment toward us, you never accept sin as normal … but repent on any accidental occasion of it creeping into your heart!
Sin Is NOT Normal
1 John Chapter 3
6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
Being “Born Again” Is Receiving A New Heart From Jesus By Your Choice To “Turn From Sin” Because You Fear and Love Jesus”.
If you do not fear God’s wrath for sin and for that reason stay alert to avoid it … it is not possible that you have been born again by the Holy Spirit of God through Jesus Christ. Your heart is still the same that it was (Acts 8:21).
You may have an intellectual belief about Jesus, like your mindful decision to follow a political cause or social cause, but you do nothave “the faith” in your heart that saves from Jesus rejecting you and carrying out the sentence that has already been decreed upon the world — eternal damnation. So sad, this is the condition of the majority of Christians in America or the churches could not come to the condition we are in and the country (since we are its salt and light from Jesus) could not have come to the condition that it is in.
Don’t Lower The Bar and Be Deceived
Jesus said “You MUST Be Born Again”!
JESUS says your heart is born again the day you make the “permanent” change from being willing to explain away what He hates to never permitting yourself to disobey Him without repentance — not even in your thoughts! This attitude is a fear to disobey Jesus Christ.
This happens on that day when you let His words wash your mind from your own thoughts about what is right to His thoughts on what is right and let His Spirit wash your heart from wanting your own lifestyle to wanting His life for you … for the rest of your lifetime in the earth and afterward, eternally.
John 3:3
- 3) Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
- 5) Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
It is, fearfully, true that MANY members of churches have never been born again!
MANY PASTORS HAVE NEVER BEEN BORN AGAIN
If you enjoy or make excuses for sin you are NOT born again. If you don’t choose to stay always alert to avoid sinning, you are not born again. If you teach a doctrine that once saved you cannot lose your salvation
They think the act of joining and being a member of the religious organization is getting right with Jesus Christ. However, as Jesus said, these persons, still, MUST be born again.
These do not HATE sin as Jesus does. Fearing to disobey Jesus because of His hate for sin is the defining of being born again.

TELLS YOU THE TRUTH ABOUT YOURSELF WITH JESUS
As in running a corporation or non-profit corporation, the worst thing you can do to yourself in leading your company is surround yourself with counselors who will tell you what you want to hear. They will tell you the company is doing great when dangerous waters are emerging. They will tell you that you are doing great as a leader when employees are (en masse) considering leaving you. They will tell you that you are great because you have built the company to where it is, but you have turned into a monster.
Preachers, pastors, and churches are no different. The worst thing you can do for yourself in leading your life is to surround yourself with a pastor and other Christians who will tell you that you’re godly when you are not. They will tell you that you are doing great, when Jesus’ words tell everyone that is living as you are that they are living a dangerous (damnable) pattern of behaviors. Dangerous Christians and dangerous pastors will tell you that you are steering your life in God’s direction when you are going away from God by believing and talking heresies. These kind of Christians and Pastors will lead you into politics, lead you into divers church and community activities, lead you into good-deed programs and services — but cannot (because they don’t know from their own life) tell you the truth about your condition with God or the pending fate of your soul THIS MOMENT.
It doesn’t matter what you “used to be”. Only who you are today, and this moment, matters with the LORD, Jesus Christ. If Jesus shocks you by showing up today, you had better be ready. Make sure your own pastor and any other Christians you company with will tell you Jesu’ truth about yourself which is found in 1 John chapter three.
