AVOID REPLACING JESUS WITH BIBLE-LEARNING!
The title of this message was changed on February 11, 2025 from ‘Jesus OR Bible’ to “Jesus AND Bible” to avoid any misundertanding that might reduce the significsnce of the Holy Bible or make people think the Holy Bible is second class.
Anyone who did read the rest of this page before Tuesday, February 11, 2025 knows that the point in ‘Jesus or Bible’ was about your “motive” when reading or studying the Holy Bible. STUDY MUST BE ABOUT FINDING and OBEYING JESUS — not about acquiring a mastery of the Scriptures for the sake of mere knowledge of the Scriptures, nor for debate/discussion about the Scriptures, nor for attempts to teach the Bible (Scriptures), and not for business marketing your organization as a “Bible Church”. Those two words side by side are an oxymoron because ONLY JESUS IS THE CHURCH. THE CHURCH IS BORN WITHIN JESUS CHRIST, HIMSELF, FOR ALL WHO CONVERT TO OBEYING HIM WITH THEIR WORSHIP. The Holy Bible is not the source of church, but Jesus is and he gives context to everything in the Holy Bible. To try to emphasize church as “Bible Church” puts the empasis on the Bible NOT on Jesus! It means that someone’s ideas about the Bible (personal or denominational) will be enforced in your life and the local community — not that JESUS will be enforced in your life, the local community, and upon everyone in the church — including the pastor(s).
- God says in 1 Timothy 6:3-5 (through Paul) that studying the Holy Bible for ANY other reason than seeking Jesus Christ who IS the Truth will always lead to a pride and arrogance that destroys a brother, sister or preacher unless they repent.
Still, it seemed wise in the spirit of unity with the Holy Spirit, to change the title for the sake of those who might err or might seek a point of contention. — Minister Clark, Pastor

Jesus “IS” The Holy Bible
Jesus is the Holy Bible because the Scriptures (The Holy Bible) were written by the Holy Spirit of Godonly to be the one testimony from Heaven about Jesus Christ:
Revelation 19:10
And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” — John 5:39
You cannot study, understand or use the Holy Bible “properly” unless you are, first, rooted and grounded in Jesus. Jesus ‘IS’ the Holy Bible. Otherwise, you will select out bits and pieces of the Bible as your rule and get others to follow you in your Bible rules.
Therefore, you must reject having spiritual unity –“fellowship” — with persons who despise the Holy Bible as just one of many other books about God or “just a book” or even as their rule for faith and living practices beyond Jesus Christ — that’s when Bible-learning “replaces” Jesus Christ as He is learned within the Holy Bible.
All scripture is given to point you to get Jesus’ righteousness. THERE IS NO OTHER RIGHTEOUSNESS that will get you approval with God. JESUS’ way of thinking, living and making decisions about God, yourself and people is the purpose of the Holy Bible.

Above all for your safety, you must reject as being Christians, persons who think the Holy Bible is just a book or another of many books. Do NOT receive them as Christians in order to save their souls and to protect yours. If you discover that the pastor(s) in a ministry has that attitude about the Holy Bible … run!
These are “blasphemers” who have the ability to SUPERNATURALLY blind you from a pure heart with God — Matthew 5:8 — just as their heart has become blinded in this area.
Jesus said about these persons:
Matthew 15:14
“Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.”
HOW JESUS-LEARNING GETS REPLACED
WITH BIBLE-LEARNING
A pervasive activity in many modern churches is focus upon Bible-learning. From this activity comes something called “Bible Churches”, Bible Schools, and other churches that advertise a focus upon “Bible” teaching. Next comes an invention that is NOT anywhere in the Holy Bible and is NOT in Jesus’ Gospel — a position or job called “Bible Teacher”. There is no such teacher or teaching ministry in the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ — it is an invented and accepted position of the organized religious Christian System. Bible-learning becomes the very worship activity of the church and a created ‘ministry’. This is not good. Jesus should be and must be the only worship activity of ANY church and the only ‘ministry’.
Yes, you must be in a church that believes and reverences the Holy Bible, but NOT replacing Jesus with their hunger and thirst for Bible knowledge. Bible-learning is only good to bring you to focus upon JESUS. Otherwise, Bible-learning is a goal and academic achievement to establish all manner of personal-picked religious rules about men, women, family, schools, government and … especially church and to invent paid jobs that do not exist in Jesus’ Church!
The goal and achievement of Bible-Learning as a replacement of Jesus is used, often accidentally, to filter out and/or block Jesus’ will from entering His own churches. To avoid this, our attitude toward the Holy Bible MUST be “JESUS” and Bible.
Bible-Learning, instead of JESUS and BIBLE, prevents Christians from implementing the PERSON — Jesus Christ — for the effect “He” wants in the community surrounding us. How does that happen? Easily … by elevating the systematized study of Bible above studying God’s heart — which can only be known in studying Jesus Christ from Genesis to Revelation.
For example, Jesus commands Christians to think this or that and do this or that, but pastors, elder men, an elder women can use their own Bible-learning and understanding to say “No” to Jesus. JESUS’ WORDS become of no effect through the tradition of Bible-learning and this is why our brother Peter warned:
“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:”

Peter is referring to the words of Jesus Christ. Only Jesus’ words make you grow up in JESUS. You don’t want to or need to grow up in anything else as a priority for pleasing God or entering Heaven.
Mark 13:31
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

The Lord forewarns in 2 Thessalonians and Revelation 13 that the heart and personality of the Antichrist shall be revealed by the astonishing increase of blasphemy (fearless speaking and doing irreverent things against God and the Holy Scriptures).
His blasphemy is to bring a following to himself. He will create a new world goverment using religion and his own invented opinions about passages in the Holy Bible to seduce away from Jesus Christ. This is the danger coming down the pipe by replacing loyalty to Jesus with loyalty to Bible-learning for a theology or religion. Jesus explained in Matthew 5 that his commandments supercede and over-ride all that came before him. They are a good start, but Jesus is the now reality for the huan heart.
Which do you choose between Jesus AND Bible? Choose Jesus and let Him teach you the purpose and power of the Holy Bible.

FINAL SCRIPTURE EXHORTATION
If you are interested in gaining intimacy with Jesus Christ after confessing your sins and joining to HIm as your Lord, it is wise to focus your research about a pastor/church with a balanced approach. Be not deceived into trusting that your soul is safe with organizations because they are called “Bible Churches”, or churches that don’t have that name but draw attention and advertising to their Bible Studies and Bible Teachings. Instead, investigate whether the persons in charge are living grounded in the commands of Jesus Christ, which are learned in the New Testament of the Holy Bible. Only Jesus’ commands will get your prayers answered and your soul saved on the Judgment Day. Knowing the Bible or keeping the Ten Commandments will NOT save you! Only the Gospel can save you.
A pastor or church that knows much about the Bible but offends Jesus with teachings and behaviors contrary to His heart will only turn you into the same kind of deceived “Christian” they are (sorry). You will be ever Bible-learning, but never coming to know JESUS. You will be just like Jannes and Jambres who defended their unrighteous attitudes and behaviors with their scholar-trained knowledge about the book of God. You will end like the Scribes, Pharisees and Sadducees that Jesus rejected:
“For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.”
Pharisees, Sadducees and Scribes that rejected Jesus and his words had degrees (letters) in Bible but used their Bible-learning wrongfully. Others stumbled over Jesus due to their Bible-learning — they could not decide whether Jesus’ way was right or wrong because it appeared to them to conflict with what they had studied in the Bible. THEY COULDN’T EVEN BELIEVE JESUS WAS GOD IN HUMAN FLESH BECAUSE OF THEIR TUNNEL-VISIONED and SELF-APPROVED BIBLE-LEARNING!
Some found their way to Jesus despite their confidence in their own Bible-learning. Paul was a former Pharisee who was blinded by his Bible-learning to the point that he wanted Jesus eradicated. Jesus IS the Bible. Jesus’ way is the only right way for all your decisions, opinions and prayers.
It is entirely important to have those who are learned in giving us the Holy Scripture texts and translations into English. That is different from trying to be a Bible-Learner versus a Jesus-Follower.
Which are you? Bible-Learner, Bible-Scholar, or Jesus-Follower in the Holy Bible? CHOOSE!
