Question
If I keep the Ten Commandments as a child and continue to do so, will I go to Heaven?

♚ No. Only obedience to Jesus Christ will get me in Heaven. There is no way but Jesus.

Only Obedience to Jesus Christ will get me into Heaven. There is no way but Jesus. There is no Heaven but Jesus’ Heaven.

Why Is “no way but Jesus” the only answer?
Jesus, Himself, explained in Matthew 5:17-20 that relying on any part of the Old Testament — the existing religious structure at the time (with attempts to re-establish it by new religions in our modern times) means to not rely on JESUS AS BEING GOD come in flesh to save us from the damnation.
The damnation is justifying ourselves as being approved and accepted by God because we keep the Ten Commandments or by any other measures.
1 Timothy 2:5
“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”
No person but Jesus Christ could, or ever has, fulfilled all the heart and mind of God, for which He, together with the Father and the Holy Spirit, created the Ten Commandments as a TEMPORARY Covenant between God and Abraham’s physical descendants.
NOW, God has sent Jesus so that through obeying Jesus’ commands, JESUS is our new and eternal covenant being kept between God and ANY human being gaining access to God through His Son. Jesus is the new and living way to be accepted by God. Therefore Jesus, Himself, has fulfilled all the heart and mind of God and since Jesus IS the Bible — He fulfills His own Old Testament requirements formerly made with Abraham’s kids. God never intended that only Abraham’s kids could have relationship with Himself. ANY and EVERY HUMAN BEING HAS ACCESS TO GOD BY JESUS CHRIST for He has put His laws “in our very nature” by Jesus in us.

In all His preaching, Jesus cited the Ten Commandments as “old and passed away” because He, Himself, is the fulfillment of them — to replace them with His own new and better way.

But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a bettercovenant, which was established upon better promises.

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
Our Lord Jesus Christ described the Ten Commandments as a good start to prepare you for the real righteousness.
Real righteousness with God is a matter of the filthiness of the human heart. The Ten Commandments are incapable of “washing” the human heart, only guiding our hearts to discern what sin is and how filthy we are. Only Jesus’ blood can “wash”.
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I hadnotknownsin, but by the law: for I hadnotknown lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
Apostle Paul was assigned by Jesus to lay a solid foundation in new believers and train us up into maturity. Maturity is thinking as Jesus thinks.

The Lord Jesus has warned us that blessed are those who read Revelation and keep (hold in your mind and obey) the things He revealed in it. Revelation tells anyone who Jesus is!
Only Jesus, The Christ, has the power to wash the human heart and to give eternal life — which is His to give or deny.
Preeminently above all the other reasons for why Jesus is the only way into Heaven is Jesus’ sinless Blood — not the Ten Commandements of the Old Testament.
Blood was “given” on the Cross to ratify His own New Covenant, aka Testament, between God and man.

Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. (bold mine)

After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
- Almighty God has exalted the Blood of Jesus as the only offering we can make to take away our sins and cause God to accept us into Heaven.
- Without the shedding of Blood there is no remission — no repentance — available for our sins.
- Only by a person acknowledging the truth about Jesus’ blood will Jesus “declare” you right with God. We cannot declare ourselves.
Final Reason Jesus Is The Only Way
To Enter Heaven
Jesus Rose!
He rose from the dead after He descended into the lower parts of the earth to give everyone who died under the Ten Commandments a choice and opportunity to choose Him instead of the Old Testament and its good Ten Commandments for entry into Heaven.
Ephesians 4:11-16
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Do You Really Know Jesus?

Bottom Line: Do You Know What Jesus Loves and What Jesus Hates?
When you know Jesus’ heart (like you know your own heart or a friend’s heart) …
the answer is obvious concerning how to get into His Heaven. You prove your belief in Jesus’ sinless blood when you RELY ON obedience to His commands alone (having no other methods) as your only way into Jesus’ Heaven … and you know that there is no other Heaven, but Jesus’.
The answer to the poll is:
