From Truth Seekers Church Worship
Sunday, March 26, 2023 – “Truth Added In”
A very brief message today that the Lord wanted made public to help somebody:
“Truth Added In”
This is an important message in Truth Seekers Church today because so many Christians throughout America have experienced times in our lives when we have taken a wrong path and lived in it (maybe for years) based on a belief, teaching or experience in a church or from the counsel of another Chrisian. The path seemed right to take at the time because pieces of it had God’s “truth added in”. JESUS wants us free when that happens and back on track with the beautiful life He has planned for you.
It is when spiritual experience replaces pure worship that preachers and members start hearing who we say is the Holy Spirit moving us to do things that have no principal in Scripture at all and are completely against the nature of Jesus Christ. Too often, this takes place during “prayer”.

King Saul — Leader Of A Nation
1 Samuel Chapter 28
8And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee. 9And the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to cause me to die? 10And Saul sware to her by the LORD, saying, As the LORD liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing. 11Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel. 12And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman spake to Saul, saying, Why hast thou deceived me? for thou art Saul. 13And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth. 14And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself.
15And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do. 16Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the LORD is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy? 17And the LORD hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the LORD hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy neighbour, even to David: 18Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the LORD, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the LORD done this thing unto thee this day. 19Moreover the LORD will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand of the Philistines: and to morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me: the LORD also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the Philistines.
Today, Christians and others would describe the events surrounding Saul, the nation’s leader, as a “prophetic” experience. Everything in that “prophetic” spiritual experience came true! Does that make it a prophecy from God? Does that make it the “will” of God?
The source and spiritual power behind the entire episode of King Saul and words spoken to him after God stopped talking to him … was Satan
Satan was endeavoring to take Saul’s heart even farther away from obedience to the one true God.
Satan wanted to, also, get Saul to voluntarily leave the nature (character) of God and the will of the Lord for his life. The timeline begins with God not talking to Saul like He (regularly) used to do. In fact, God was not talking at all. It ends with Saul devising a method that involved lying. GOD WILL NEVER BE PARTICIPANT IN A LIE.
Saul should have communed with the Lord and humbled himself to find out why God was silent and if there was something he needed to confess and turn from to seek God’s reconcilitation. Instead, Saul tried to “force a spiritual experience” on his own willpower so he could feel like access to God’s information was still within his reach. Whenever a person (whether Christian or not) does that, you will always receive an evil spirit of divination or spirit of error talking to you or showing you visions that have a “piece” of God’s truth added into it. The piece of God’s truth added in comes from the fact that these spirits are familiar with what God has said and done concerning you and they are familiar with what you think and feel. They accommodate your own heart at that time — what you want to happen or what you may want to hear. The punch line is that they are familiar with events that will happen — BUT THEY DO NOT KNOW GOD’S HEART OF LOVE FOR YOU. The picture they paint of what is or will happen is contrary to the motive of God and the nature of our Saviour Jesus Christ (and why He is allowing the events to take place).

Satan Tempted Jesus’ Flesh!
Matthew Chapter 4
6And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
The purpose of Satan was to pressure Jesus mentally to think and do against God’s will and the nature of God’s love. This delusion will always be the purpose behind any spiritual experience, vision, message or use of scripture by a spirit of divinaion or spri of error presenting a spiritual event from God. The delusion is to use scripture against the nature of the Lord and his heart of love.
The joy for us is that Jesus detected the “truth added in”. God’s truth was being added into Satan’s lying tongue!
Yes, God had given angels charge concerning Jesus, but not for Jesus to on his own willpower put God in a situation to “test” if God lied! Satan did the same mental pressure to Eve, but she failed. Praise be to Jesus that He overcame that trick! For our soul and spirit survival, Jesus overcame.
Now you and I, just like our Lord, must go forth and overcome the temptation/pressure to give in to spiritual experiences, prophecies, signs etc. that would support our own fleshly will by adding God’s truth into it. The flesh profits nothing because it is by its own nature always against the higher purpose of God in his love for you — John 6:63
