When the Lord called me and told me things about how he feels in His heart, I never knew that what He had said about “house churches” becoming the norm would become so widely fulfilled in my own lifetime. This return to simplicity has been fulfilling all around the earth. I live in the United States, where — just within the past two weeks — I was verbally beaten by the treasurer (with permission by the pastor) of a local Boise “evangelical” church.

I am suffering for the messages Jesus delivered to me to deliver to you, both during and since renoving persons from membership in Truth Seekers Church, along with the financial ramifications of that action. The Lord sends me to specific individuals (not doing randomizaed fundraising, yet) to offer His opportunity for the rewards associated with supporting me by partnership or just His rewards attached to compassion for someone you know is laboring for Him (Matthew 10:40-42).

One suffering is that some of those, recently, approached have mocked the message and reproached or abused me for it. Better to simply turn down the opportunity, because the Lord records everything.

The Christian treasurer yelled –“I’m looking at your website. You’re wiped out, but we have a building and God is blessing US. But you want us to help you financially”! I was seeking to find partnership in what Jesus is saying and wanting in America and partnership in my sufferings for it with pastors in Boise Valley across denominational borders.

I’ve met other pastors and their staffs who have been Christ-like kind, even though their doctrines put them in a different mindset than what I am working on. My absolute favorite disagreeing pastor was the man in responsibility for Church of God Seventh Day on Cherry (Fairview Ave). You will rarely meet so humble a preacher in any denomination of Christians. It was pure joy to be disagreed with because Jesus was so mightily glorified by how two disagreeing Christians treated one another with His love. This pastor feared God and you could tell because he was afraid to disrespect me as a fellow-Christian and he was afraid of Jesus to speak out of order to me as a woman. He was solid and firm about his beliefs, but he searched for the words and deliberated the tone in which to share them. Plus, he wanted to speak in a way that Jesus could reach me in the future, if I was in error.

Sadly, it’s becoming a national pattern that male pastors and male Christians cannot example what it is to be a gentlemen respecting women because they don’t have that manhood in them. Jesus defines what being a man is — when you become one, you put away child mentality — throwing tantrums, yelling and screaming to get your way, insulting or bullying to push your will on others, etc.. It doesn’t matter that the women dealt with aren’t what they should be — Jesus is only judging you for YOU.

That treasurer was angry, really angry, at the particular words on the ‘Move With God’ page that comes from one of the several prophecies Jesus gave inside Truth Seekers of Jesus Christ/Truth Seekers Church since 1999.

“No Temples, No Buildings — What is Jesus saying?

As with Peter, Mary, Martha and Lazarus — home is enough!”

I never knew or had this conviction that home is enough. It begin in 1999 when the Lord shared his heart with me (Psalm 25:14, Amos 3:7). He wanted to start a church in Tulsa, Oklahoma of individuals about whom He said “These are my truth seekers. They want only Me” (wanting more than the status quo we are all accustomed to for the way we do church).

The background is that I had asked the Lord Jesus (frantic) “Well, where are we going to meet? We have to find a building”!

JESUS SAID — “You ought to know better than to ask Me a dumb question like that at this stage in your walk with Me”. What He meant by ‘this stage of your walk with Me’ is that I repented of my sins, got baptized, and promised Jesus to obey Him for the rest of my life — when I was four or five years old in a Baptist Church of about 100 or more people and have walked with Jesus beyond 40 years in all kinds of situations (minus a few disobedient years when I did leave Him and no longer believed in Him).

I never knew how entrenched we can be until we have, unaware, made our projects (forms, structures and practices)  define worshiping God (Isaiah 66).

We believe our projects are inspired by Jesus (and sometimes are) but other times these projects are just the effect of man’s willpower and collective agreement to do a particular thing and put money behind it — like the Genesis Chapter 11 tower of Babel getting completed.

Men and women in the city of Babel contacted one another, talked, and agreed together to build this tower that would make them stand out as a city and a people. It would advertise and announce their skills and intelligence as a people and a city. They would make a name for themselves, too. They would put their money, physical and earthly resources behind the vision and accomplish it. God looked down from Heaven and saw what they had envisioned for themselves and had committed resources to and started working on. GOD SAID “and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do”.

People agreeing together has spiritual power. It is NOT the miracle power of God — it is a momentum God has put in natural things. The miracle power of God is a completely different realm of agreeing with Jesus and His words.

Many things that we envision to do “for God” are just like the men and women of Babel — our own human idea or agreement, signed off on by others and then money, power connections and influence used to fund it. Since our momentum is successful, we convince ourselves that it was God’s idea and God’s blessing, but it was just simple human agreement to work something until it’s accomplished and, even God said, that will work (tower of Babel illustration).

Jesus IS doing a new move in the earth to restore Christians to this kind of heart-simplicity that wants only Him according to his New Testament words and example. That is the worship He is after. Also, He is loving pastors and seeking to bring us out from the stresses against our own souls which Satan has devised in governing a business corporation model of church versus the simple family of God which Jesus died for, then rose to empower. This model is rich soil for producing differing kinds of pride that we aren’t even aware of and the chains it brings around our hearts and minds.

I never new how far away from simple worship — the desperate need to meet with the Almighty God anywhere, anytime, anyplace to get and obey correction our worship has become. I never knew it until Jesus rebuked me for asking that dumb question.

Returning To Simple Worship and Simple Church

No human can stop it. We can hate it, persecute it, reproach it — but it will (and is) coming to pass.

COVID helped it along. After COVID, many pastors are still struggling to regain membership and the economic strength for paying for these buildings. Some are just fine. Others are bringing anyone with a warm body into the membership and so it grows by not standing for the Gospel of Repentance that Jesus preached but a replacement gospel of community action and national causes which people rally around.

The wisest thing we can do to flow with Jesus in this new move He is doing (man calls it a trend) versus begrudging it, is to be heroes and heroines over the devil oppressing people. We can pray to God for wisdom how to use these buildings for more benefit to the people in our churches, and the poor inside and outside churches. Some of the tax-free real estate we have can rescue lives beyond only spiritual needs. We can pray for HOAs to stop making CC & Rs designed to prevent simple “family-like” gatherings called “church”. We can pray for hearts that want only Jesus and what He is saying for their righteousness with God … hearts that are not coming into church for anything else but prayer and the Word of God (1 Timothy — All and 2 Timothy — All). Guaranteed, except by a revival move of Jesus Christ, today’s spiritual climate in America would not produce those kind of hearts in a sufficient enough number to fill the pews, nor pay for the buildings.

 Can some existing pastors continue to meet in buildings? Yes. It is not sin. However, Jesus is doing a new direction than our traditions. Those who want to move with Jesus must prepare. Prepare your hearts. Break up the fallow ground. Make ready for the next time of refreshing from the Spirit of God!

I never knew there were so many being led by Holy Spirit in their hearts, hearing the same things that I have been hearing from the Spirit of our Lord. I never knew because I have not been embraced in the United States, but made to feel “out of order”, “false prophet”, “erring”, or “God is not with you”. All lies, but Satan engineers them to discourage me. Behold, there are millions! See the article below.
