The Cross

THE CROSS EXPOSES HEARTS

I always know “perfectly” whether a person or a religious organization is legitimate as being Christian (joined to the Bible Lord Jesus Christ) by their attitudes about “His Cross”.

There are so many religions claiming a respect for Jesus and some dare say He is their Lord! However the reverence for “everything” that comes with the Cross reveals if their are saved or a planted camouflage from our enemy Satan.

Camouflage blends in with your Christian surroundings so the hunter (Satan, the Dragon, the Serpent) can kill you!

Forgive me using this analogy, but it really is like some old movies where people cringe at even the sight of a cross.

A person finding any way to avoid to avoid clinging to, identifying with, and exalting the superiority of Jesus humility in suffering the Cross is someone of the spirit of antichrist — no ifs, ands, or buts — just raw Lucifer/Satan as the ruling force in their lives — PERIOD. That is why you must be loyal to Jesus’ Lordship when dealing with them and not play around with it.

 

The not so obvious aversion to the Cross is a light-hearted or smug attitude about sin and repentance. Repentance — confessing wrong to someone injured (or you think you’ve injured) and stopping that behavior is “natural”  to the person who has fallen at the feet of Jesus hanging upon the cross for their wrongdoing. This “habit” of humility has been forsaken among many Christians. Yet, it is as natural as breathing for a disciple.

Like Lucifer, a person may have a beautiful exterior, but their inner or secret attitudes about “the Cross” reveal deeper anti-Christ motivations acquired ignorantly or trained into them by someone.

Some or taught and trained that it is weakness to humble to letting a person know you “care” about what they feel if you have treated them badly, spoken evil toward them, or about them. Some are even taught and trained that repenting to a person means that person is “superior” to you by your admitting your wrongdoing. In the mind, you think admitting wrong means the other person is so good that they don’t do wrong, therefore you are “inferior” to them. FOOLISHNESS!

Persons perverting or averse to the sacredness of  the Cross expose a heart that welcomes worship being turned to the god of this world system — Satan. Satan has founded it upon perverse, anti-Jesus thinking about money, superiority, and “insatiable craving” feelings (lusts):

Philippians 3:17-19

17) Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. 18) (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19) Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

1 John 4:2-3

“Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

What Sets Jesus Apart

The Cross is what separates the Bible Lord Jesus Christ from all earthly religions. Your attitude toward what  the cross means to Him separates you to Him or from Him. What the Bible Jesus Christ did in “the cross” is a mystery put into the conscience of Christians. This mystery is our confession about the Bible Jesus Christ that makes him LORD. Anyone can say the words “Jesus is Lord” or Jesus is “my Lord”. No one but a person washed in His blood can CONFESS  the same attitude about Jesus’ Blood — that Jesus has — that “the cross” means I confess Jesus is GOD, The Bible Jesus Christ is the Creator … Almighty GOD … who visited earth in human flesh!

The Blood From His Cross

Many religions, persons, and groups don’t know what it means to be washed in the Blood. It is the BLOOD … of Jesus Christ that draws the invisible line of separation between Christians and all other worships … that blood came only from “the Cross”.

“Carelessness with repentance is the proof” that a person has not been washed in the same Blood as others who cherish the Blood that Jesus spilled. He sprinkles on you His life-blood to wash away sin each time one calls upon Him confessing AND forsaking it.

This same attitude about The Cross and the Blood that Jesus only applies each time we repent is the only thing that binds a Christian to another Christian.

Some persons do so cherish the blood from the Cross that they are (spiritually-speaking) immersed in it. They understand that it is the “Blood from the Cross” that washes a person from the damnation penalty on us for our sins. Hence, the phrase “under the Blood”.

There is no possibility to ever be forgiven or cleansed and welcomed into Heaven except coming through JESUS’ Blood — the blood of the Bible Jesus Christ!

There is no remission of anyone’s sins except by the shedding of someone’s blood and no other human was and never would be clean and spotless to offer theirs. Only Jesus could … and would.

So, love the Cross. Wear it. Lift it high as the symbol of our faith in and loyalty to the only true Jesus in the only Gospel New Testament. Lift His cross as the “emblem of suffering and shame” much more than we do! 

Thank Jesus, daily, for suffering the cross so He could rise from the dead.

That’s the other mystery of why He did the Cross. Lift the mystery high. Jesus died on the cross “to” rise from the dead … and He’s coming back!
