What Does Jesus Mean By “Be Perfect”?
Some think that perfection is to be achieved over time. No, being perfect with God is instant the moment you are born again, because it means “be the same with everybody” even as God, our Father, is the same with everyone. That kind of holy love is what Jesus Christ transformed into your heart the day you accepted Him.
“Minister” — The Lord’s prophet, evangelist and pastor to love you in His Name!
No matter who they are, how good or evil, how high in authority or low, the compassions of God or never withheld and fail not (Lamentations 3:19-25). His understanding of our condition, nor His anger at us for our sin, never changes His quality of having “same-love” for everybody.
NOW you are perfect. Now are you washed in Jesus’ sinless and cleansing Blood. NOW are you sanctified to God and away from Satan. Just keep diligent to stay in your royal place each hour, one day at a time. If you happen to fall, don’t wallow down!
CONFESS IT!
STOP AND DO THE RIGHT THING!
Stand upright, then, as the King’s royal kid and keep going as if it never happened. You are always perfect with God!
