What Is A Pastor or Preacher?

In Jesus Christ, a pastor or preacher (see Ephesians 4:11-16) is a male or female sent by Himself to watch over your soul from Satan and to train up your spirit in holy living as Jesus does. These get their authority and calling from Jesus and are empowered by His baptizing them in the Holy Spirit so they have power to lead and teach in the miracle power of the Holy Spirit and in their set place.

Pastors and other preachesrs must submit to the authorities over them who are sent by Jesus Christ. The authorities from Jesus are the apostles, prophets, and evangelists chosen to protect a pastor’s soul and the direction pastors may take the church, erroneously. In addition,  Jesus tells us to fear God by submitting to one another as Christian brothers and sisters in daily living affairs. This is the clothing of humility.

In today’s Christian system, pastors most often reject all Jesus’ Bible authorities over them, skipping over that part of the Holy Bible and conveniently teaching the following errors to uphold power in their denomination:

FALSE TEACHING OF PASTORS AND PREACHERS BY DENOMINATION

• that men are God’s structure of authority
• that Jesus does NOT baptize in the Holy Spirit today with the initial miracle evidence of spiritual language (tongues)
• that ALL women in the churches are under the authority of men and must submit to ALL men
• that wives are to submit to their husbands beyond what scripture commands
• that ministry is a work of flesh ability (and brawn if male), not the Holy Spirit of our Lord Jesus
• that it is okay with God to invent polity structures to make up for rejecting the authorities Jesus set.

These teachings are all strongholds of demons throughout America and exported to other countries. Prove that? Apostle Paul taught the Evangelist and Pastor, Timothy, that teachings of how to think and live that are contrary to JESUS’ character and teachings are doctrines of devils to be avoided.

We must be watchful that we do not — just like the Scribes and Pharisees — obsess our study of the Holy Scriptures and the pride that innately will accompany blindly studying the Scriptures to make a point. Once we do, we build a pyramid of false teaching as the Scribes and Pharisees did, with a foundation that is false and which births and supports all the rest of our false teachings.

Our scholarly study of the Holy Bible can land pastors and preachers “usurping” the authority of Jesus Christ, himself, over doctrine and church structure … and in much of the church world already has. This renders those who do it as being NOT pastors or preachers, but mere men who other men have escalated into a position of authority in the churches — but not by God. Dangerous. (See James 3:1)

Thus, Jesus is doing a new move to correct the same situation that the scribes and pharisees were in which we find ourselves in today (by majority of clergy). That situation is, trying with our  fleshly minds to understand and teach Scripture when Jesus said the Scriptures  are “spiritually discerned”.

After rising from the dead, one of the first loving things Lord Jesus continually did was unveil to His disciples how ALL the scriptures were written about HIM and for Him!

Pastors and preachers in authority set by Jesus, whether male or female, are working under strict orders from our Lord Jesus Christ to accomplish the sacred obligation of telling you the truth from Jesus about yourself that Jesus is alerting to get and keep fellowship with you. He or she brings this truth NOT ONLY via preaching, but at any time and any place that Holy Spirit brings His divine encounters with you. He or she, also, leads you by stepping out front with a living example as you observe their “daily” way of living and responding to the evil in this world (Acts 2:40-47).

The pastor receives high esteem, a deep respect of gratitude and obedience, for watching over a Christian’s soul that  has chosen to submit to him or her as a member in their church work — because JESUS will judge him or her to enter Heaven or NOT for carrying out this sacred charge.

Likewise, the pastor (he or she) must submit themselves to the apostle, prophet, or evangelist that Jesus sends to him or her by divine encounter  for the same reasons that Christians submit to a pastor. The apostle, prophet, or evangelist will be judged by Jesus to enter Heaven or not for being faithful to tell the pastor what Jesus ordered them to say! See Revelation 2:2.
