QUESTION: Does love mark? Does Jesus’ love mark pastors, preachers, and Christians in general by public correction. Is marking passed away?
ANSWER: Yes, Jesus still marks for love’s sake. Love marks.
By marking, the Lord seeks to get a person to hear Him when all else has failed. Marking is to publicly call a person out. Marking is needed because their actions are public and affecting the public as well as the churches.
Leviticus 19:17
Romans 16:17
Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
The reason for avoiding those who are marked is not to offend or hate them. Rather, not hanging with them in their behavior is God’s plan to help them see the danger of their behavior and to protect you from getting comfortable with it, so you do not become part of it!
As a homeowner nestled by the Boise River, I was amazed at how beautiful the plants and trees grew. I love gardening. I started digging in the soil to prepare for my plants and trees, which my husband and I used to promote a rich spiritual environment home that would edify ourselves and visitors.
Shocked because with such beauty on the outside, I couldn’t fathom that I found beneath the top layer plenteous rocks, and even STONES.
It took equally immense labor for me to get my yard just able to plant! That’s what Jesus is saying today about some of the effects many of us pastors and preachers have had — often unknowingly — in Boise and the rest of the nation:
STONES in the attitudes and perspectives of people in Boise who have become so casual and comfortable with “church” the way we’ve taught them, that it amounts to blasphemy. This must be removed before the soil of residents hearts is prepared for the Lord Jesus to plant his own perspectives in Boise. That is what I am called to and laboring unrelenting to accomplish. I shall prevail through His grace given to me.
When Jesus gets his perspectives in, many more people will experience transformed hearts toward God and one another, healing, and deliverance from Satan’s supernatural powers which come against all of us.
The “religion” environment we have made in Boise has entrenched stones in some major areas of thinking about God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and CHURCH. These areas are either false doctrines or bad practices. JESUS can’t get what He wants thought and done in Christians without immense labor by others who are not entrenched, too. We cannot see clearly to help one another out of the organized religion Christian System in this geography called Boise, Idaho unless we first humble to see how we are brainwashed into it ourselves.
It reminds me of a funny story that a pastor told me. It’s funny, but true. It concerns a blind man who was put out of the organized religion church in his hometown and no longer allowed to come inside the “church”. Jesus found the man grieved and sitting outside somewhere. When Jesus passed by, He tenderly asked the man, “What’s wrong?” The man told Jesus, “They won’t let me in.”
Jesus replied, “Don’t feel bad. I’ve been trying to get in there for years and they won’t let me in either.”
The Lord commanded me last week, “Mark them.”
Although there are many in the Boise region, I only mark the ones Jesus said to. Marking these two for self-promotion will alert what Jesus feels about it for all those trying to compete or be like them.
There is widespread devotion to a kind of “worship” that is self-promotion. Self-promotion is the behavior and practice that Jesus is marking as being against the original Gospel Jesus preached. It is one of the many reasons that I completely left the organized religion Christian system in obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ, by August 2023. I still love every Christian pastor, brother, and sister in the churches and their denominations, but I will not fail Jesus and protect my powerful loving relationship with Him by avoiding behaviors and practices that have become “entrenched” in the churches of the Treasure Valley.
Two Popular Self-Promotions
Jesus has an ought with a brother, Keith Harrington in Rock Harbor Church (RH) because rather than exalting Jesus and promoting Jesus, he has led people to promote something called RH. There are RH bumper stickers as self-promotion or self-glorying public tools of every kind. How much money it took and takes to self-promote RH is unknown and does not need to be known. Just calculating the cost of the “campus” building on Chinden Ave, and all the advertising and sales efforts to keep the image of “RH” is incalculable.
Upon visiting, I found huge projector screens, a dark concert-type environment, and a huge sin of nakedness in the midst! Additionally, I found that the shepherd could not be reached by the “sheep” with a cell phone number, but need to go through layers of “staff”. This is not Jesus’ way. Shepherds stay, personally, near each sheep and know, personally, each sheep … and are personally known and touchable by each sheep.
Jesus has an ought with all of this and the leadership who self-promote it. It is not just this brother … it’s a pattern all over the United States to turn God’s church into a prototype of a business corporation with all the trappings of a pastor being a CEO.
If the persons who claimed membership lied to me about not being able to reach their own pastor, then this is another revelation about the organized religion Christian system in Boise and the nation.
Today, (regularly) pastors really have become like a business corporation. We become CEOs where you can’t reach your own pastor by cell phone, you MUST make an appointment. You may not even be able to get an appointment. All such pastors will, often, not even know personally who their own member-brother or member-sister is! Jesus has an ought with all of this and the leadership who self-promote it.
Jesus has similar ought with my brother Steve Crane in ECC (Eagle Christian Church). The experience upon visiting was the same as RH. However, it appears that ECC has more self-promotion — ECC bumper stickers, ECC sales products, ECC newspaper inserts, ECC, ECC, ECC.
In ten years, I have not met one person from ECC that wasn’t promoting ECC or glorifying their pastor and my brother, Steve Crane, instead of lifting up and glorifying JESUS. Most that I’ve met use profanity as natural language. Many I have met as members dress nakedly. Not all — but there have been repeated and consistent encounters with those who behave this way with no sense of wrong toward Jesus or remorse, and even with ire toward others in the Treasure Valley who do not exalt ECC.
The glorifying of my brother, and their pastor Steve Crane, is the more dangerous part. God won’t continue to stand for that. Observe the Holy Scriptures and you will see a consistent pattern that when men start lifting up their preacher, or even a government leader, God starts bringing them down. (Don’t ever do that to me!)
Except for the areas that Jesus wants to correct, I don’t want to ever see my brother brought “down”. He has done, obviously, too much work that can be considered profitable in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (I think). However, when a man at a Walmart asked me if I had ever heard of ECC, I replied, “Yes, however the Lord has some corrections for my brother, Steve.” That man immediately started YELLING at me, “Steve Crane is a great man!” I told him, gently. “Well, sir, I don’t want you to have to get un-Christian about it.” He was embarrassed at how he had behaved … but he never repented or apologized.
Neighbors invited my husband and myself to visit a Christmas “worship” at ECC. There was bold demonstration of “magic” as part of the worship experience and program. That’s when we got up and left! With all the expository teaching known for ECC, surely someone must know how Jesus feels about “magic”, symbols of it, jesting about it?” Magic is courting with Satan in his realm of supernatural sorceries and downplaying it as just a cute game. It is not cute or funny to our Lord. Things like this are overlooked because ECC has self-promoted very well until the name, mission, and the organization is entrenched in Boise and the general public thinks if ECC does it, it MUST be right. Furthermore, I learned that ECC is of the Christian denomination called “Christian Churches”. That’s the name of the actual denomination and sister churches all across the Valley have similar and common attitudes and ways. A brand new “plant” of the Christian Churches in Star, Idaho allowed the local library to use it’s building for a magic show in Summer 2024!
Why does Jesus mark these two brethren? Why is this significant?
In 2011, the Lord Jesus gave me a prophecy-warning for pastors (including myself):
The LORD Jesus said:
“In my next move, I am judging pastors. So, keep yourself from all forms of self-promotion.”
