What Is Perverted Revival?

Perverted revival takes on many forms. All of it is summed in disrespecting God at the same time we are approaching Him seeking “revival”.

Perverted revival manifests in the way we dress coming into Jesus’ presence. It manifests in what we, as pastors, are allowing to happen in the sanctuary where we will be meeting with JESUS in just a few minutes. It manifests in the atmosphere and tone we set for the people under our shepherdship by our example of reverence during the worship assembly. It manifests in bringing pure offerings to the Lord or a perverse spirit in our flesh. Much more can be brought to our attention about perverted revival, but this message is Jesus preaching about an experience in 2024:

When I (Minister) was convinced that God’s new season of judging pastors entered a next phase, I exited the entire organized religious Christian System in America (and the world).

On Friday, August 25, 2023 after two “Divine appointments” back to back — the WINCO Meridian at Linder and Chinden, the COSTCO Meridian at Ten Mile and Chinden, the Lord had enough of me experiencing perverted revivals in the Boise region (or anywhere else) — and so did I.

The exit had been building. I don’t know how many months or years. The Friday encounter with three different persons, back to back, whose words and actions were perverting the Gospel from differing churches and different denominations was God’s last straw for me … and therefore, my last straw as well. Each person had boldly and proudly announced themselves to be “pastors” in our Boise, Idaho and Treasure Valley. However, their loyalty to the pride and activities of their churches, which Jesus named in 1987, “The Christian System”, was perverting the purity of their original calling and the usefulness that Jesus wants versus what kingdom usefulness we approve for ourselves.

My vow to JESUS was that I would never set foot into an organized religion Christian System church as long as I live, unless He commands me to. In June 2024, such a commandment came and as of this update (February 10, 2025), He has sent me into our classic organized structure for church worship on several occasions.

We Have All Experienced Perverted Revival

I love my brethren and receive them in their love for Jesus at whatever level that is. “We all came from the same Christian System.” I am praying and thanking God for wisdom how to stand for Jesus words and love my brethren, while NOT loving, accepting, and becoming a part of what Jesus says that He finds abomination from the organized Christian System.

It blinds us to Jesus working in front of our faces just as it did the Pharisees, Saducees, and Scribes!

June 2024, a young lady introduced herself to me as a new Christian — just saved that week! She was a BABY convert — just saved that week — and imploring me to “visit my church tonight” for its REVIVAL MEETING (at a Pentecostal church). Since I am a Pentecostal Christian, I felt safe to go.

For the Lord’s love of her soul coming to Him, I was led by Holy Spirit to go and let her see me there to encourage her new faith in Jesus Christ as God and her Lord!

Then I was “blind-sided” and had to leave almost as soon as I came — because one of the first things the highly praised Pentecostal Evangelist did in his sermon was start mocking ‘Democrats’.

Since, I have No Party Affiliations for Jesus’ sake (and I keep it that way) my aghast feelings were not of, simply, hearing a pulpit siding with any particular party. It could have been the evangelist’s opportunity to mock Libertarians, Republicans, Green Party … anyone. The shock and aghast feelings were at the following great disappointment:

 

Once again, (now at a “revival” meeting) — an organized religion Christian System church here in our Boise/Treasure Valley — had imposed upon my ears to hear little to nothing about Jesus and much about a man’s personal politics in the world. The church was First Pentecostal Church Boise and the man who introduced and agreed with the evangelist’s political public conduct was Pastor J. A. Perez.

During that “revival” at the First Pentecostal Church months ago, the little that was being spoken about JESUS was being mingled, in public, with the Evangelist’s personal attitude about political party (which is idolatry). Jesus’ heart on the preaching (and mine) was “Love NOT the world. Neither the things that are in the world!” (1 John 2:15). It grieved my heart that a baby convert was getting her first dose of the Christian System, no matter what denomination, instead of continuing her in the faith of Jesus — it was publicly done to indoctrinate her mind ith the speakers emotional feelings and biases about a favorite political party!

That Evangelist and the key organization leader (Pastor Perez) conducted a perverted revival, a perverted gospel. He was the voice of their organization to the people … innocent, hurting, needy people — the vulnerable. They were already shaping this young lady’s brand new heart for Jesus Christ with their own version of Jesus and politics — what blasphemy! Is it blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? I’ll ask the Lord.

That night they mingled the revival about Jesus with their organized Christian religious system versus only Jesus speaking at a ‘Jesus Only’ (Oneness) church. It was NOT Jesus-Only on that night.

It could have been any church where the preacher was using the pulpit to lambast political parties, but the Boise region is unique because it seems almost 100% of the pastors here are Republican, so that is how it happens in sneaky ways that blending and camouflaging Republican party views enters the preaching of a false gospel of Jesus Christ.

It could have been a city filled with Libertarians, or Green Party or etc., then the camouflage of blending politics into the Lord’ Gospel might happen just as badly. I know it would, because it is our human nature to promote and defend what we believe whether it’s God or not … and because I have witnessed it in other cities and states! We are so bold to dare preach it as the Gospel of Jesus Christ — that’s the problem. I have lived and pastored in cities of differing political majorities, and they ALL blended their politics into Jesus’ Gospel when preaching from the pulpit.

Bottom Line: A Perverted Revival Is A Perverted Gospel

For Jesus’ love of this young woman, He had me interrupt my commitment to never enter the organized Christian religious system because of these type of activities by pastors and their organizations of preachers who mold the way they think, behave, and “do” church.

We can all humble ourselves to acknowledge that it is a miracle that Jesus has reached our hearts and persuaded us to believe Him and follow Him in the midst of “our” organized systems. He is the greater power and so “despite us” … He does save from sin, heal from sickness and disease, deliver from devil bondage, and raise the dead.

The Lord Jesus has warned us, sternly, that who you hang with as preachers (whether they are sent by Him or not) IS WHO YOU BECOME. Who YOU become in God’s sight can be evil because “evil communications does corrupt good manners.” GOD CANNOT LIE.

Is that fearful or what!?!

The blasphemy of a local pastors’ love affair with Republican politics over love for Jesus (and His tender souls who are trusting, innocent, and lapping every word dripping out of his or her mouth) was all I got when expecting to be in a REVIVAL meeting! Satan came in there and perverted the revival meeting. Souls came to seek and be shaped by Jesus Christ in a meeting that was supposed to be dedicated to Him!

No one in their right spiritual mind can believe that Democrats, Republicans, Green Party, Libertarians or any other political views are all bad and completely wrong. Everyone has something that is valuable to bring to our pluralistic-designed nation. Sometimes, the outward platform is absolute foolishness, but the reasons that brought it forth are worth thinking over. Take what’s good and reject what’s bad. Eat the fish and throw out the bones. However, leave your flesh-driven politics OUT of Christ’s house!

John 6:63

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

One of the important key beliefs and doctrines for membership in Truth Seekers of Jesus Christ™ is renouncing your political party affiliation. You cannot be a member or lean to any politics of this world while maintaining “citizenship” in the Kingdom of our Lord and King, Jesus Christ. We are indeed in this world, but we are not of this world. Our methods and power are different. Our culture is from Heaven, therefore COMPLETELY different — and our pursuits are holy.

You can, absolutely, see God change things in any nation when we obey Him and when the first priority and action in our worship assembly is not listening to a praise and worship team, choir, or band … but PRAYER … as the LORD commanded (1 Timothy 2:1).

1I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. 7Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

We need to be known by our Father as Jesus was known, for HIS OBEDIENT LIFE OF PRAYER AND RESULTING BEHAVIOR and THE PREACHING WE BOLDLY SAY in the Name of our Lord. Older saints have said “More prayer … more power. Less prayer … less power.” The Gospel and exampled events we can all recall proves to us that this is true.

The first order of worship assembly is prayer for apostles, prophets, evangelists, parents, pastors, kings, presidents, prime ministers, cabinets, parliaments and all who are in authority. How much prayer appointed time even exists anymore as the beginning of the worship? This is the “order of service” that Jesus commanded Paul to set up in all the churches. Paul “charged” Timothy to uphold it for righteous conduct before God in the church worship assembly. Christians in church assemby need PRAYER FIRST — so one can maintain or get a pure heart with God, so we can see straight.

We need to return to getting on our knees in reverence and respect (Ephesians 3:14) for the Almighty God, who is STILL ALMIGHTY GOD even though Jesus has connected us to Him as our Father who is in Heaven waiting for each of us. We’ve become to familiar and too casual with our “Father” by forgetting who He is — He is GOD. That is why it is such unfathomable love that He would dare love us so much to make us and call us (both male and female) … sons of God! (1 John 3:1)

We need to return to getting on our knees to seek God’s face, not just what He has in His hands to offer us if we pray. We need to return to all the example Jesus gave us in the Gospel of the first churches — before their own perversions entered in (See Revelation chapters1-3). We need to feel Jesus  smiling at us for our purity, humility, meekness and obedience. Obedience is better than sacrifice (1 Samuel 15:22) and that is why all the sacrifices trying to be offered by changing politics toward God in this nation or any nation do NOT bend Christ’s ear at all. We are the family of God and his concern in only for Jesus the head who leads us into the Fathers good pleasure. Then, FOR OUR SAKE GOD WILL CHANGE ANY NATION — so we may live a peacable life in all godliness (1 Timothy 2:2).

THE ANSWER TO PERVERTED REVIVALS:

It’s hard to hate anyone for how they think, including other cultures, politicians, and political parties when the love Jesus branded into your heart by the Holy Spirit is pouring out your life for their soul … in prayer!

Our Lord Jesus has asked me to make myself available to pastors for helping to strengthen you and the brethren through teaching sessions and preaching events. It doesn’t matter which Christian denomination you are in if your quest is to know JESUS more “intimately” and move in union with Holy Spirit. While I exited the entire organized Christian religious system in August 2023, pastors who want only Jesus and have a heart burning to know the Lord’s “right now” words for our generation are the kind He would command me to enter for.
