God’s Definition:

A fool is a person who chooses to disobey Jesus Christ.

People’s Definition : A fool is a person (by others standards) whom “other people”  decide is speaking or behaving in a negative way for their contribution to our neighborhoods or society in whole.

The Lord who created us determines and defines what a fool is. It is His word and terminology, so He calls the shots:

One can be a fool in a single moment of decision concerning God and Jesus Christ because this decision determines our attitudes and behavior in EVERYTHING.  A fool is “a person who chooses to disobey JESUS CHRIST.”

Matthew 5:22

“But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.”

Proverbs 17:7

“Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.”

Proverbs 26:8

“As he that bindeth a stone in a sling, so is he that giveth honour to a fool.”

Proverbs 14:16

“A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.”

Ecclesiastes 4:5

“The fool foldeth his hands together, and eateth his own flesh.”

Psalms 14:1
