2 Tim 2:23
23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
An “Unlearned Question” or Statement is:
You don’t know what you are talking about, but your pride about your knowledge of the Bible makes you think that you do. Then, “you assert” that your knowledge be accepted in place of what the Bible Lord Jesus Christ has taught and revealed in His own Holy Bible.
— Minister Clark
Jesus commands us to avoid persons who want to “talk” or “discuss” unlearned questions. They’re hiding a passion for argument and debate — the kind of debate that is sin. Don’t respond, do not interact, and walk away! (Proverbs 14:7)
