What Is Mercy? Mercy is any act, and all the total acts that God has been doing to help any person to repent or to help a Christian to repent if there comes a time when that Christian needs to be restored to salvation — James 5:19-20.
Backslider means “rebel”. Only a Christian can become a backslider. Rebellion against any words from Jesus Christ starts the process of sliding back to Satan as your god whom you serve and the lord of power over your heart. This is where the term back-slider
