Your Soul or Our Politics?

Please forgive us who are pastors and the Christians who follow us for using “church” to preach American politics — NOT Jesus saving your soul from damnation!

How hypocritical we are at turning Christ’s church into our own political platform. This motive and action is sin and it opposes the motives of Jesus Christ, whom we claim sent us to preach Him to you!

Every single time that the disciples tried to talk about Herod, Rome, restoring the government to them, etc., Jesus shut them down and returned their focus to what they were chosen for. We who are pastors and other Ephesians 4:11 preachers are chosen as ambassadors for Christ’s kingdom and to train our brethren to take up this same life duty. Our ambassadorship is for a “spiritual” kingdom run by miraculous spiritual POWER. This miraculous spiritual power is what we live in, live by, and place our labor and expectations in.

Acts 1:6-8 King James Version (KJV)

6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Jesus NEVER wasted time on or preached this world’s politics and governments. Hallelujah! He kept focused on why the Father sent him — to save us from eternal damnation and undo every work Satan has done in our lives down here! That is a full time duty.

There is no room or time for the foolishness of politics and seeking to “control” this world’s governments. There is a better way!

To heal hearts from sin so that governors protect the righteous (Romans 13) is JESUS’ way. The better way is JESUS way – converting souls from sin and ministering to them Jesus’ Baptism in the Holy Ghost!

Holy Ghost is the person and the power who raised Jesus from the dead on the third day. Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) is the one who moved at God’s command and made the heaven, the earth, us, and everything in them. Holy Spirit is who we ALL need moving upon our prayers for God to move governors’ hearts to get saved!

Also, consider the demonic deceptions we are under in this matter

  • We are praying to God to do X.
  • Others are praying to God to do Y.
  • What God wants to do may be neither.
  • We all think we are praying God’s will.

We use the church pulpit to convince you of what we want in local and national government. We use the Bible to do it by mingling our personal political desires  into Jesus’ Gospel.

Is it really what Jesus wants for Himself and His kingdom??? No way.

Proverbs 21:1 King James Version (KJV)

21 The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

Truth be told … the prideful coveting of power that sought to control Jesus and use him for influencing politics is what entered the heart of Judas and moved Iscariot to yield to Satan and betray the Son of GOD!

We betray our Lord through the same “heart” that Judas had, when we use the Gospel of Jesus Christ for political gain. We are just as guilty as Judas in putting the INNOCENT Jesus to the horrid death of crucifixtion. It was all about civil and social POWER and CONTROL. Satan has not changed. He is still crafting Judas Iscariot preachers today. YES — Judas was a PREACHER! He was an apostle sent by Jesus Christ … but turned on Him for his own social position with the ruling establishment.

TRUE PURPOSE OF PREACHING and CHURCH

A pastor is blessed to have God moving your heart toward Jesus Christ. When you are moved by God’s Spirit to take the initiative of visiting an assembly of worship when welcomed, it is our duty to Jesus Christ to make sure your heart ONLY hears about Jesus Christ!

You come into our assemblies expecting to find rest from the sinful world of politics, hate, and envy. You come seeking to hear about how to get saved from the power of sin on your heart and the judgment looming upon you. You come to learn about Jesus’ shed blood and about you confessing your sins and repenting of your sin life to turn to living holy in God. You come to find deliverance from Satanic supernatural oppression. Even if a pastor is preaching to known members  of that church family — the brethren deserve the same expectation of only JESUS!

Instead, PLEASE FORGIVE US LORD JESUS and you non-Christians — for giving you an earful of worthless, powerless, harangue about who should be president, senator, governor, etc.

You get a personal speech that “twists” Christ’s Gospel and mingles it with someone’s personal desire to control your world views about politics and they EVEN GET TO KEEP THE IRS NON-PROFIT TAX EXEMPTION LETTER. ENOUGH!!!

If we “genuinely” cared about your souls, we would be on edge — desperate to not fail our Lord in making sure you don’t leave the assembly with any distractions from the pure words of our Lord — which are the POWER to save your eternal soul!

Your visit to our assembly may, suddenly, be your last day on earth! We destroy your opportunity to make your soul right with God Almighty when we lead your mind to earthly, worldly interests at this sacred, holy, moment of opportunity.

Please! Forgive us. Keep your mind on Jesus Christ. Leave that environment and find a church where Jesus is the only love on the pastor and the people’s minds … AND your soul is, fearfully, the only thing we cherish!

1 Corinthians 2  (KJV)

And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
