What is “Death”

A. Death is, simply, “no more opportunity to repent” of your sins , only permanent Judgment. This state can happen whether you are physically alive on earth or physically dead in a grave.  1 John 5:17

B. Death is when your spirit is commanded to depart from the body you have occupied on this earth. The next event is Judgment. There is no Judgment for the righteous. Hebrews 9:27

C. Death is a  “backslidden”  aka “prodigal” state of having chosen to repent of your sins, then some day forgetting and going back into living a sinful attitude and behavior for daily living. In the Parable of The Prodigal Son (representing God and us who enjoyed a righteous condition with Him), the father says ” my son was dead and is alive again.” Luke Ch 15
